DAY OF ACTION CELEBRATION

  Night to Unite is a street-party-meets-benefit-concert to celebrate the 95th anniversary of United Way of the Mid-South. Attendees will have local eats, take home a mini mural, and dance the night away to one-of-a-kind tunes. The entire community is invited to join us in our fight against poverty and celebrate 95 years of creating lasting impact on this community!

Community Impact Town Hall

The Community Impact Town Hall is a community-wide gathering that features a national keynote speaker to heighten local awareness on alleviating poverty. The speaker share national successes and best practices on ways we move ahead in this fight against poverty. In true town hall fashion, the event will close with a participatory audience dialogue around solutions to fight Mid-South poverty.

The annual Tocqueville Reception recognizes a notable Tocqueville Society member and gives other members an opportunity to network socially. This elegant, after-hours affair honors our long-standing members, while welcoming our newest members of the Tocqueville Society. Guests have the opportunity to hear from United Way of the Mid-South leadership on the future plans for this organization and how this Society of leaders can assist.

Days of Caring Block Party

September 15

For the most impactful week of the year, United Way of the Mid-South hosted the Days of Caring Block Party with food, families, and a great time! Days of Caring is the community's largest volunteer-driven service opportunity with approximately 1,600 volunteers and growing. This week just wouldn't be complete without a pep rally to engage everyone to come together to serve!
