Last Friday’s observance of National Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day and the ribbon-cutting opening of the Free Tax Prep Supersite at the Raleigh Springs Mall was a great success as leaders from across the area came together to promote the event.
The videos above and below aired last weekend on WREG News Channel 3 (above) and WPTY ABC 24 (below).
We wish to thank the local leaders who helped spread the word about our Free Tax Prep sites, Raleigh Springs Mall Supersite, and Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day:
Jean Morton (SunTrust Bank) who serves as Community Impact Chairman for United Way, City of Memphis Councilman Myron Lowery, City of Memphis Councilman Edmund Ford, Jr., Shelby County Commissioner Willie F. Brooks, Jr., Shelby County Trustee David Lenoir, and IRS Territory Manager Agnes Newman.
