For ServiceMaster employees, getting to know the United Way partner agencies is an important element in giving. Ever since ServiceMaster started its United Way campaigns, it has brought employees and agency representatives together to discuss what improvements they are making in our community.
Peter Tosches, ServiceMaster’s Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications, told the room of Leadership Givers (who generously donate $500 or more per year) and agency representatives at the ServiceMaster leadership breakfast and campaign kickoff that their leadership has paved the way for ServiceMaster to become one of the top companies to support the local United Way campaign.
“In the last four years we have entered the top companies, coming from nothing, and I want to thank each and every one of you for this effort,” Tosches told the group. “ServiceMaster associates care deeply about our community and through your work, it really shows!”
ServiceMaster’s leadership breakfast, held at its Memphis headquarters, brought eight United Way partner agencies (Alpha Omega Veterans Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis, BRIDGES, House Of Grace, Knowledge Quest Inc., Memphis Crisis Center, Search Dogs South and Youth Villages). Agency representatives talked to ServiceMaster employees about the differences they make in the community.

and “My Club” (a revision of the popular hit My Girl
