Youth United Way’s “Everybody, Let’s All Say Cheese” project to benefit Ronald McDonald House and local food pantries

The challenge of providing food to hungry people is considerably more difficult during the summer months, and our Youth United Way Leadership Program is kicking off a new school year with a service project to help collect more food for Ronald McDonald House of Memphis and other food pantries in the Mid-South.

Youth United Way teens will collect boxes of macaroni & cheese during the month of August as part of a new project called “Everyone, Let’s All Say Cheese!”

Ronald McDonald House is a “home-away-from-home” for families who are in Memphis while their child is receiving treatment for cancer or another catastrophic illness at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Students in the program will bring the collected boxes to Youth United Way’s kickoff meeting on August 13th.
