Youth United Way’s 10th Pins For Pennies a big success despite weather woes

PinsForPenniesMiniSunday’s 10th annual Pins for Pennies fundraiser for the Youth United Way Leadership Program was a great success despite unseasonably frigid temperatures and rain.

Over 175 students and parents raised funds for the Youth United Way Educational Scholarship at Cordova Bowling Center, 7945 Club Center Drive.

Students and parents dressed in popular #901YouthStrong t-shirts bowled two games. The scholarship fund received at least a penny for each pin knocked down at the event, bringing in over $900 in a single day.
