From the Archive: Youth United Way teens to receive financial literacy training from Federal Reserve Bank

Youth United WayYouth United Way Leadership Program’s graduating high school seniors will learn about financial literacy and planning from members of the Federal Reserve staff on Wednesday, June 1 when they will be the guests of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis-Memphis Branch.

Martha Perine-Beard, Senior Branch Executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis-Memphis Branch, is hosting a corporate luncheon for the graduating seniors. The group will also tour the Cash Department and learn ways to prevent going into debt while in college.

This is the third year that Mrs. Perine-Beard has hosted the corporate luncheon for the graduating seniors. Mrs. Perine-Beard is also Chairperson-Elect of the United Way of the Mid-South Board of Directors.
