Youth United Way teens to learn about the legal profession from local experts

Youth United Way and Memphis Challenge, Inc.

Youth United Way Leadership Program students will have an opportunity to learn about the legal profession thanks to a special program offered by Memphis Challenge, Inc.

Local teens will have an opportunity to learn about the legal profession through interacting with a diverse group of law professionals at the end of March thanks to a partnership between the Youth United Way Leadership Program and Memphis Challenge, Inc.

“Legal Careers Forum: The ABC’s – Advocates, Barristers & Counselors” will be presented on Thursday, March 31 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Wade Auditorium at 1 North Front Street in downtown Memphis.
 
This Memphis Challenge, Inc. program includes a reception, moderated discussions, and a question and answer session. Confirmed panelists include Chief Justice Janice Holder (TN Supreme Court); Al Bright (Butler Snow); Kevin Bruce (Brittenum Bruce, PLCC); Yolanda Ingram (Asst. Dean, Law Student Affairs); Hon. Sheldon McCall (Juvenile Court of Memphis & Shelby County); Terence Patterson (Hyde Family Foundations); Janet Shipman (Shelby County Health Dept.); and Monica Wharton (Regional Medical Center).
