Youth United Way students use weekend to pack Thanksgiving dinners for deserving families in need

Youth United Way Leadership Program students assembled more than 20 boxes filled with non-perishable food items for Thanksgiving dinners on Satuday. This is just another example of how teens in Youth United Way use many of their weekends throughout the year to engage in social service projects which benefit people across our Mid-South area.

The students filled boxes with canned corn, green beans, peas, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, bags of sugar and more. The boxes are delivered to deserving families in the South Memphis area. Photos of the students in action are included below (click on each image to see it in a larger version).
