The Youth United Way leadership program kicked off its new class year with the popular Pins for Pennies bowling event on Sunday, October 31st. Teens and parents from public and private schools gathered together to raise money for Youth United Way and enjoy a time of fun, fellowship and meeting one another.
For each pin students knocked down, pennies were given to Youth United Way by sponsors. This encouraged students to root for one another and do their best to achieve high scores. We thank the good people at Cordova Bowling Center for hosting the event this year – everyone reports they had a great time.
We thank everyone who supported this year’s Youth United Way’s Pins for Pennies events as a bowler, sponsor, and/or volunteer!
