We want your past Day of Caring stories!

Day of Caring 2011United Way Day of Caring has provided volunteer work opportunities for people and nonprofits in our area for over 15 years. Over that time, multiplied thousands of people have performed acts of service that help make the Mid-South an even better place to work and live. This year, we are sharing some stories from volunteers and nonprofits about how Day of Caring has made a difference in our region.

If you have had a rewarding experience as a past Day of Caring volunteer, or if you represent a nonprofit that has benefited from Day of Caring workers, then United Way wants to hear from you. We want to share your stories (and pictures!) in the weeks and months leading up to this year’s Day of Caring on Friday, September 16.

If you have had an experience to recall or a story of motivation from previous Day of Caring events, please send your story to dayofcaring@uwmidsouth.org. A member of our Day of Caring communications team will contact you for more information and details. We look forward to hearing from you!
