From the Archive: Volunteer Spotlight | Joe DiNicolantonio, United Way’s new General Campaign Chairman

Joe DiNicolantonio says an important part of his work as West Tennessee Area President, Regions Financial Corporation is to empower employees by providing the resources they need to effectively do their jobs so that ultimately, they can help bank customers meet personal and business financial goals.

Joe DiNicolantonio is the new General Campaign Chairman for United Way of the Mid-South, raising funds for our network of care across the entire region.

DiNicolantonio’s commitment  extends to his work for our entire community as the new General Campaign Chairman for United Way of the Mid-South, raising funds so local nonprofit organizations have the right resources so community needs can be addressed.

DiNicolantonio succeeds John Crowe from Buckeye in the volunteer position after a triumphant celebration at the United Way Annual Meeting earlier this month.

DiNicolantonio came to Memphis a few years ago from Chattanooga, TN and oversees more than 85 bank offices in Memphis and Jackson, TN.

Growing up in Florida, DiNicolantonio earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his Master’s from the University of South Florida.  DiNicolantonio started working for AmSouth Bank after college, which was eventually bought out by Regions.

DiNicolantonio has overseen market expansion strategies that required growth from the ground up. Parts of every United Way campaign are also built from the “ground-up,” and beginning in September with the Day of Caring kickoff event, DiNicolantonio’s work to raise funds for our regional network of nonprofit partners will lead people across the area to contribute to the United Way cause.
