UW staff serve as judges for Newberry Elementary “Think Show,” share photos

United Way staff members Tehrian Martin, Meisha Waller and Dee Fuller were jurors at the Memphis City Schools ThinkShow at Newberry Elementary on Thursday, November 11. They shared some photos from student projects with us, and we’re happy to share them with you. (Click each photo below for a larger version)

ThinkShow is an inventive new program from Memphis City Schools. Twice a year schools ask students to set aside textbooks and grab their thinking caps, to exercise their minds instead of their pencils. The result is an amazing showcase of the children’s unique talents, skills and abilities that reflect the intelligence and creativity of students in a way no test score can measure.
