UW gets $56,000 grant from IRS to help Earned Income Tax Credit Alliance’s work

Helping people file taxes can help them receive larger refunds, increasing their potential for financial stability

United Way has received a $56,000 grant from the Internal Revenue Service to help people use the Earned Income Tax Credit. United Way’s work with the Earned Income Tax Credit Alliance (EITCA) provides free tax help and filing using trained volunteers from our community.
