United Way sponsors seminar & workshop: how domestic violence affects victims’ employers & coworkers, Oct. 25th

United Way of the Mid-South’s network of partners works to reduce domestic violence in our community in a variety of ways, including education and awareness efforts.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. United Way is one of the sponsoring organizations for the Violence at Home, Victims at Work / Employers Confront Domestic Violence seminar on Thursday, October 25th at The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis (1900 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN) from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

This free seminar and workshop addresses how domestic violence affects the victims’ employers and co-workers, and introduces a new campaign with awareness and training materials. A series of awareness sessions for employers is also planned for 2013.
