United Way network partner agency Search Dogs South spotlighted for rescue on WMC TV Action News 5

United Way of the Mid-South congratulates our friends at Search Dogs South (one of our network partner agencies) for helping find a Mid-South teenager and his friend after the two were in need of rescue, lost in the woods.

Last night’s broadcast of WMC TV Action News 5 shared the story of how Cheyenne, one of the team’s bloodhounds, played a key role in the rescue. The broadcast helped shine a spotlight on a partner organization that is very active in sharing United Way’s story across our Mid-South, speaking at training functions and fundraising campaigns across the region.
