United Way Worldwide launched the multi-year "Campaign For The Common Good" last month

Last month government officials, nonprofit leaders, educators, students, parents of students and other community leaders met at United Way Worldwide’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA for meetings to discuss ways to help improve public education across America.

These meetings were part of the launch of the “Campaign for the Common Good.” You can see video clips from some of theseĀ meetings on YouTube. Over the next several years, the United Way Worldwide organization and local United Ways are bringing leaders from diverse sectors of the community together to share and learn from each other in an effort to gather and use best practices to impact education, income and health. As these meetings progress here in the Mid-South area, we will keep you posted via the News Center.
