From the Archive: United Way & area partners present information sessions on the Affordable Care Act (July 10 & 19)

affordablecareactUnited Way of the Mid-South, in partnership with Tennessee Health Care Campaign and Meritan will host information sessions about the Affordable Care Act.

Over the last twenty years, paying health insurance premiums and other health bills have become harder and harder for Tennessee families. As premiums and health care expenses rise, more costs have been shifted to the consumer through deductible increases, higher co-payments and less covered services. The Affordable Care Act is designed to ensure everyone – insured or uninsured – has access to affordable health insurance.health
