Town of Collierville employees have given generously to the United Way campaign to help improve people’s lives. So far, employees have contributed $4,665!

Town of Collierville employees raised funds through a combination of special events and workplace contribution gifts. Employees sold bracelets for “jersey day” when employees were allowed to wear their favorite team colors. Another popular fundraising idea came from “jeans day” when employees were allowed to wear blue jeans, seen as a special treat for the Town of Collierville work force.

Collierville Mayor Stan Jordan commented that the Town’s employees have always been sensitive to the needs of the community. “I am proud of the effort and results our campaign has generated,” he said.

United Way thanks Town of Collierville employees and their campaign committee: Linda Stamps (campaign chair), Murray Beard, Vanessa Dodson, Gus Logan, Shari McNeil, Lou Nelms, Celia Rosser, Tress Shields, Susan White and Juanita Whitehurst.
