Tomorrow’s CIM 3.0 Workshop shows how to generate reports, maps and data for grant applications

imageUnited Way’s CIM 3.0 will conduct a Grant Writing Community Cafe this Tuesday, April 23 at the Bridges boardroom at 477 N 5th St., Memphis, TN38105. The workshop begins at 9:00 a.m. and lasts until 10:30 a.m.

CIM (Community Issues Management) is a web-based collaborative management system designed to capture information making it easier for individuals and groups to frame, manage and take action on complex community issues. It is a free mapping and reporting system which makes it easier to identify troubled communities in our area that need help. It has become a big asset to United Way’s work.

CIM’s community cafés help participants learn more about the valuable system and provides a platform for asking questions about mapping and creating reports.

There will also be a hands-on training with CIM 3.0’s Grant Writing workshop to show attendees how to use CIM to build a fundraising case, telling your community story with data, maps and/or demographic data.

Seating is limited for the workshop. There is no fee to attend. If you are interested in attending this event, please email tehrian.martin@uwmidsouth.org
