Students and faculty at Southwest Elementary compete and team up for United Way

Students and faculty at Southwest Elementary in Fayette County "competed" to raise money for United Way. Working together, the school raised over $950.00 this year.

Students and faculty at Southwest Elementary in Fayette County, TN helped United Way this year in a “contest” of giving to support education, financial stability and health in our community.

As you can see in the attached photo taken during the middle of the fundraising effort, students and faculty used a scoreboard to track giving. The students eventually claimed victory – but in truth, the victory belongs to all of Southwest Elementary for their generosity as the final campaign result surpassed $950.00.
