REMINDER: Memphis Air Show presents proceeds to three United Way partner agencies Friday, Dec. 2, 11:30 a.m.

United Way Marketing and Communications manager Veena Neelakantan sets up the United Way board room for tomorrow's special Memphis Airshow presentation

As we mentioned yesterday on the United Way News Center, the Memphis Airshow will present checks to three United Way partner nonprofit agencies to help children and youth in our region.

The presentation takes place tomorrow, Friday, December 2nd at 11:30 a.m. in the United Way of the Mid-South board room at 6775 Lenox Center Court, Suite 200 in Memphis, TN.

Representatives from the Boys Scouts of America Chickasaw Council, Madonna Learning Center and Memphis Oral School for the Deaf will receive checks from the Memphis Air Show to help them continue their work. The three agencies are partners in United Way of the Mid-South’s work to help children and youth succeed.

The Memphis Air Show representatives will be joined by representatives from FedEx (which played a significant role sponsoring the event) and United Way of the Mid-South staff for this special presentation. Representatives from local media are invited to attend.
