Photo Gallery: Christmas spirit at work in United Way’s partnership with Organized Labor

LaborAndUWlogoLate last week, labor union members from the Mid-South helped assemble and distribute holiday food boxes from the Memphis AFSCME headquarters. United Way resources helped make the distribution effort possible.

Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Alignment Regina Walker was on hand and snapped photos of the volunteer effort to assemble and deliver the boxes. Helping the drive were United Way of the Mid-South board members Irvin Calliste, President of the Memphis AFL-CIO Labor Council and Paul Shaffer, Business Manager of IBEW Local 474. United Way Labor Liason Director Casel Jones was also involved in the effort. Our thanks to the great men and women in Organized Labor for their help with this worthy project.
