Dr. Kenneth S. Robinson (President & CEO for United Way of the Mid-South) and his wife Rev. Marilynn S. Robinson were honored by the Memphis City Council this week with an honorary street name change along Mississippi Boulevard. The resolution was sponsored by Councilman Vice Chairman Edmund Ford, Jr., who represents District 6.

The Robinsons recently completed 25 years of service as pastors of Saint Andrew AME Church in Memphis, TN. (Read The Commercial Appeal’s story on their retirement here.) This week’s resolution honored their work, dedication, and shepherding of Saint Andrew AME Church and the impact it has created for our wider Memphis community.
