A new poster from United Way of the Mid-South’s “Campaign for the Common Good” initiative is recruiting people to volunteer as tutors and mentors to make a difference in the lives of local children.

A statement accompanying the new poster declares “We’re galvanizing people to read to, volunteer to tutor, and mentor kids who need a caring adult in their lives. Anyone with passion and commitment can help a young person achieve greater academic success. Volunteers have the power to make the difference.”
