MLGW raises $6,000 for United Way with summer golf tournament

This year’s 2011 MLGW golf tournament for United Way had more participants than ever as 28 teams competed and raised $6,000 to improve education, financial stability and health for our community.

We wish to thank all MLGW employees and Jerry Collins, Jr., MLGW President and CEO for their leadership and continued support of United Way. Collins is a past United Way General Campaign Chairman and is an active member of United Way’s  Board of Directors.

“We would like to recognize and thank all the MLGW employees who volunteered and participated to make this year’s tournament a huge success,” said Bryce Haugsdahl, President of United Way of the Mid-South.
