(MEMPHIS, TN) Memphis Air Show representatives will present checks to three United Way nonprofit partner agencies on Friday, Dec. 2, at United Way of the Mid-South offices, 6775 Lenox Center Court, Suite 200, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Earlier this summer, the Memphis Air Show thrilled crowds as aviation entertainers (including the world-famous Blue Angels aerobatics team) performed in Millington, TN and raised funds for three United Way of the Mid-South partners working to help children and youth succeed in our community.
Representatives from the Boys Scouts of America Chickasaw Council, Madonna Learning Center and Memphis Oral School for the Deaf will receive checks from the Memphis Air Show to help them continue their work in our region.
The Memphis Air Show representatives will be joined by representatives from FedEx (which played a significant role sponsoring the event) and United Way of the Mid-South for this special check presentation. Representatives from local media are also invited to attend.
