Bryce Haugsdahl, President of United Way of the Mid-South in Memphis, TN led his last meeting as Chairman of the United Ways of Tennessee organization last Friday.
“We want to thank Bryce for his leadership as our state organization’s chairman during some challenging years for our national and state economy. He has generated such collaborative and impactful work as Board Chairman. We have become a powerful movement under his leadership,” said Mary Graham, President of United Ways of Tennessee.
Haugsdahl led the group as Chairman since 2010. During the meeting, the statewide board also announced several new additions and key officer appointments.
The gavel of Chairman was passed to Lester Lattany, President and CEO of United Way of Greater Washington County in a short ceremony at the end of the meeting. Dawn Holley, Executive Director of United Way of Bedford County, will serve as the state organization’s new Board-Chair Elect.
Haugsdahl will serve the United Ways of Tennessee’s board as Immediate Past-Chairman. As a President of one of the larger United Ways in Tennessee, he will continue to play a vital role in the work of the statewide organization.
