United Way’s Free Tax Prep program has extended days for you to get your taxes prepared – FREE OF CHARGE – by IRS-certified preparers.
United Way’s Free Tax Prep program is helping people at the Cossitt Library, 33 S. Front Street, Memphis TN, 38103 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, now through Thursday, June 25, 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (last appointment taken at 2:00 p.m.)
People with an annual income of $53,000 or less are encouraged to take advantage of the service, bringing a photo ID, W-2 and 1099 forms, Social Security cards for everyone claimed on the tax return, and any correspondences or transcripts from the IRS.
