Last week, members of the Youth United Way Leadership Program had a tremendous opportunity to learn about the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis – Memphis Branch, thanks to Martha Perine-Beard, Chairman of the United Way Board of Directors. Perine-Beard is Memphis Regional Executive for the Memphis Branch.

05ColorYouthLogoWebThe teens gained knowledge from a financial literacy presentation led by bank officials, and learned about a community service project started by Youth United Way intern, Richard Taylor, called “Water Wars Atlanta” (see www.WaterWarsATL.com for details).

The teens also enjoyed an exculsive tour of the operations of the Federal Reserve Bank.
