Fast information for the Mid-South: Dial 2-1-1 creates emergency/disaster webpage

The Memphis Public Library and Information Center website now provides up-to-date information related to local flooding and disasters at http://www.memphislibrary.org/linc/disaster-updates.

The page also includes links to the Shelby County Office of Preparedness, evacuation and preparation procedures, and other emergency topics.

LINC/2-1-1 disaster webpage

LINC/2-1-1, which provides information to our community about nonprofit services and programs, has opened a disaster update page (image from LINC/2-1-1)

This valuable community service is provided by the LINC/2-1-1 department to help customers find information for preparation and/or evacuation procedures and relevant community resources.

Throughout the floods and storm disasters, LINC/2-1-1 continues to provide information to callers who are seeking news about shelters and other disaster-related updates.
