Faith Leaders Breakfast connects congregations with info about the Earned Income Tax Credit on Saturday, Nov. 19

The Earned Income Tax Credit Alliance helps individuals and families with low incomes with FREE tax preparation

United Way of the Mid-South and the Tunica County Earned Income Tax Credit Alliance are happy to present the 2nd annual Faith Leaders Breakfast with the theme, “called to financial freedom – our people perish for lack of knowledge” on Saturday, November 19th at 8:30 a.m.

The Earned Income Tax Credit is an important tool for helping individuals and families with low incomes increase financial stability

The meeting will help faith leaders empower congregations with knowledge of the Alliance’s work with the Earned Income Tax Credit, free tax preparation and financial education. The guest speaker for the breakfast is Pastor Evelyn Hubbard from Commerce Boulevard Baptist Church. A “southern style” breakfast will be provided.

The meeting will be held at Harrah’s Convention Center, 13615 Old Highway 61 North, Robinsonville, MS 38664.  If interested, please RSVP to Nakisha Coffey at 901.433.4313 by November 11.
