community issues management CIM

CIM training gives people useful information to make educated decisions about local issues

Another Community Issues Management (CIM) training session for nonprofit and community stakeholders will be held Friday, April 8th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Center for Community Building and Neighborhood Action at the University of Memphis Park Avenue Campus, 4050 S. Park Loop, Building 29.

The training session will help participants engage in mining new sources and data sets for housing and neighborhood indicators, and will inform the students how to access mapping tools through CIM.

CIM is a growing database of online community information. As more organizations and individuals learn how to use this powerful tool, the amount of data grows. This gives users the ability to make educated decisions about community funding, actions, and activities.

To register for this training session, please RSVP by Monday, April 4th by sending an e-mail message to cevans@memphis.edu or by calling 901-678-1165.
