United Way's Tehrian Martin is training people across the area about the use of CIM

United Way staff member Tehrian Martin will be presenting at the 2011 MLGW Neighborhood Leaders Conference on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the MLGW Training Center (4949 Raleigh-LaGrange at Covington Pike).

Martin will lead a workshop on “Mapping Your Neighborhood” where attendees will use hands-on learning with the web-based Community Issues Management (CIM) software.

CIM is a database of community information designed to assist with everything from identifying and mapping community resources to understanding community problems and obtaining data needed for grant writing. In order to participate, attendees must have a valid e-mail address and familiarity with browsing the internet.
