The questions are very common – you’re shopping for a used car, and the one that catches your eye looks fine, but how do you know the dealer is honest? How can you tell if the car is going to be reliable? If you buy it, are you opening yourself up to a long list of costly repairs that can damage your financial security? What steps can you take to minimize your risks before you buy?
Answers to these and other questions are part of “The A to Zs of Used Car Buying,” an information session presented by Memphis Area Legal Services. Presentations will be given at United Way’s Earned Income Tax Credit Alliance and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site at Hickory Ridge Mall.
Two presentations are scheduled: Wednesday, February 6, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Friday, February 15, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
