Blake Shelton headlines telethon, concert to help United Way of Central Oklahoma tornado relief

Blake Shelton has organized a telethon and concert to raise support for United Way’s work to help people impacted by recent tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Country music performer Blake Shelton is headlining a telethon for the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund tomorrow (Wednesday, May 29).

wmc1Shelton, who organized the telethon, will be joined by Grammy Award-winning artists Miranda Lambert, Reba, Darius Rucker, Usher, and Vince Gill. The telethon is part of a concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, and will be televised live at 8:00 p.m. CST on WMC TV 5 (NBC) and on cable networks Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT on either a live or delayed basis.

The concert sold out just minutes after tickets were made available according to Rolling Stone magazine.
