United Way of the Mid-South congratulates Clifton Jordan for receiving the 2010 Youth Volunteer of the Year Award recognizing his outstanding contributions to our community and the Youth United Way Leadership Program.
Clifton, who serves as volunteer Chairman of the Youth United Way program, is a student at Memphis University School. He received the award at the Spirit of Giving awards luncheon at the Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis in late April, 2010.
The luncheon and award ceremony, sponsored by Volunteer Mid-South, brings our community together to recognize outstanding volunteers and promote volunteerism in our community.
Clifton is also active with First Tee of Memphis, a local nonprofit program which uses the game of golf to teach the life values of sportsmanship and fair play. To read more about the Spirit of Giving awards, including the Youth Volunteer of the Year Award, visit Volunteer Mid-South online here.
