Giving

There are many different ways you can support United Way throughout the year.

The most popular way to support United Way is through your workplace fundraising campaign. Organizations across the Mid-South hold United Way fundraising campaigns to share information and generate support for the education, financial and health interests that our programs address to improve our community. By contributing with a payroll deduction gift from each paycheck, you can give a larger amount than if you were asked to make a one-time contribution. With payroll deduction you are making continuous gifts throughout the year, improving lives and making the Mid-South an even better place to work and live with each pay period.

Many people are blessed with the ability to make major gifts to United Way in the amount of $10,000 or more. These generous supporters are given membership into the prestigious Tocqueville Society. To help with these special gifts, United Way has a Major Gifts program to assist you. To learn more about United Way's major gifts program and the Tocqueville Society, contact the director of our Major Gifts program.

Perhaps you want to construct a giving plan that allows you to give for many years into the future. With United Way's Planned Giving program, you can construct a variety of giving plans so your generosity will help people today, and in the years to come. Many supporters of United Way also want to make a gift that will help guarantee United Way programs will be helping people in the future by contributing to our Endowment Fund. E-mail us to learn more about United Way's Planned Giving program and the Endowment Fund.
