UPDATE: January 6, 2010
United Way’s Avron B. Fogelman Venture Fund Grant has been a vehicle for new ideas and programs that have impacted our great community. For over 20 years, the Venture Fund Grant supported programs that helped children and youth, elderly and disabled individuals, as well as, programs that addressed poverty and home ownership. The Venture Fund Grant invested millions of dollars to promote a positive life and programs for our citizens in need.
The United Way’s Avron B. Fogelman Venture Fund has been suspended for 2010. Although these grant funds will not be available, United Way will continue to make lasting investments in the Mid-South community. We will evaluate our past investments and determine key strategies to implement for continued community growth.
